Ltd would like to inform owners of (Toyota Yaris) of Recall / Special Service Campaign on their vehicles to attach a protective cap to the side airbag connector and secure it with specialized tape due to that the side airbag is designed to deploy during certain crashes by supplying an electric current to the side airbag through a wire harness connector. If force is applied to the connector portion of the side airbag as the occupant sits in the front seat, the wire harness connector may dislodge. If this occurs, the SRS airbag warning light will illuminate, and the side airbag will not deploy in the event of certain crashes.
