Announcement For Avalon Owners

Campaign Summary

Abdul Latif Jameel Co. Ltd would like to inform owners of Toyota (Avalon) of a Special Service Campaign on their vehicles to replace the audio system amplifier and install a protective cover around the sub-woofer, Due to the location of the sub-woofer inside the trunk. Cargo inside the trunk could contact the sub-woofer litz (soft braided) wire, which can move the wire out of its normal position. If this wire contacts the metal frame of the subwoofer, this may result in an intermittent short, causing the integrated circuit (IC) in the audio amplifier to become damaged.
