Annoucement For Toyota Avalon Owners 2000 to 2004 Year Models
Toyota Motor Corporation and Abdul Latif Jameel Import & Distribution Co. Ltd. would like to inform owners of Toyota Avalon (2000 to 2004 Year Models) of a free recall campaign on their vehicles to replace the Steering Column Bracket.
Due to the improper casting of the steering lock bar, which is a component of the steering interlock system, there is a possibility that the interlock system may become difficult to unlock when stationary. In the worst case this could affect the steering control during driving.
